A bit of a tiny space but the staff is real friendly and they do have some great food. The perogie grilled cheese was amazing. And the pasta salad as a side was top notch I need to come back for the falafel wrap. ”
“ I love this place. The prices at Smiling Moose are more fitting of a small-town hole-in-the-wall dive bar than they are South Side. The bartenders are always super nice. There are very different vibes upstairs vs downstairs. Downstairs has plenty of seating and tables, but upstairs is basically a concert venue with a stage and bar in the back. They have 3 drinks specials from either 9-11 or 10-12 every night. Also 1.50 PBRs on special on Saturdays. This place is great. ”

I got the Philly cheesesteak and a cup of baked potato soup, both excellent. They brew their own beer there as well. I got the Graze and Three Beards, both were decent. ”
